    Game saves/progress have completely disapeared.


    Xbox one, Downloaded version of the game. Well as stated in the subject my 2 completed and one in progress saves have completely disapeared.

    Loaded the game up this morning, arrived at the press menu button to continue part and the biowares agreement pops up, didn't think much of it accepted them, it then continued to connect to the servers and continue to the main screen but all my screen settings
    were all out of wack for example the screen boundries were wrong and the option to continue didnt appear but then i realised the option to load a previous state was dimmed out and non selectable. It will allow me to create a new game but i'm not going to touch
    that till i get my saves back.

    So far i have hard reset the console to no avail, cleared local save and then restored the data from the cloud servers still no avail.

    Help!

    Update: Each time i have loaded the game up it keeps asking me to accept the new terms and conditions plus it won't store my screen settings.

    I've loaded up a few of my other games and the saves are working as normal on them

    Has anyone else had save game issues with this? I get past sandman, and the game autosaves, get to the Baxter building and then quit with saving. Playing the game later and it dumps me right back to the beginning with no progress completed?

    Yeah, the achievements are a little on the daft side.
    It would have been nice to get around 800 for normal game progression and completion, and then save the last 200 for insane and not replacing batteries or using night vision or whatever those achievements were.

    Unfortunately, all you can do is re-do it. When you recover your gamertag, you're pulling the last information the servers have for your account so it wouldn't include any of that information.

    Can someone enlighten me HOW it works and WHEN it saves? I get progress or inventory saves.....it seems to me like it will only save progress AFTER you have completed an entire mission or optional mission...?

    Hello Vurayy,

    I don't think there will be saved data because the game is completely online, thus your progress is saved to their servers and not locally on your console.

    As for the issue, have you tried deleting the game completely and reinstalling it from disc?

    Let us know how you get on.
