Game saves lost?

    Game saves lost?


    Okay so, maybe i'm just dumb or maybe this has happened to other people?

    I put my FFXV game into my xbox one and what I thought was an update was actually an installation. I've already had the game installed and had 22hrs down on the game. My Xbox shows this in the achievements, but when I open the game it makes me start at the
    complete beginning. I can't click "New Game" nor can I click "Load Games". It's just really frustration and since i'm new at this I probably messed it up, but like... Does anyone know what I did wrong? Or if there is or isn't a way to fix it? I really don't
    want to start all over again.

    To me it seems like the save game problem is intentional. Once you start a quest it wont save anything until you are done with the quest. It makes dieing a little more personal, especially when you just got some end game items. I enjoy the extra challenge.

    Hey DrPepper!

    Oh no, losing your FF XV progress is a bummer, I'm sorry! Unfortunately, it sounds like you definitely wiped your entire game, including save files, somehow. If there's no option to load your game or resume your prior save file, you'll likely have to start
    over from the beginning as there is no way to recover deleted data. On the bright side, you already know what to expect up to the point you were at so hopefully you can breeze through it slightly quicker!

    If it has been deleted there is no way to recover it.

    GAME SAVE LOST

    Changing your name does not effect your saved games and all saved games and achievements should transfer over. I did hear if you used a save editor with that game it can delete all of your other saves otherwise I guess next time keep a backup on your U.S.B,
    P.S using save game editors in any game is against the rules or code of conduct so use at your own risk.

    Highlight the games under "games and apps" ....then press the menu button on the controller , go to "manage game" and it SHOULD be next to your profile....

    So I was playing a game of For Honor a few minutes ago until I got a message telling me an update needs to be downloaded for it, it was a 1.32GB download.. after it was finished I booted up the game to see that my entire game progress has been deleted
    because it shows me starting the game for the first time. I have restarted and signed out many times and nothing has worked, any help is appreciated.
    The exact same thing happened to me , does anyone know what's going on??
