Game save transfers to Xbox One S or Scorpio

If I upgrade to a One S or wait a year for the Scorpio, will all my games saves (game progress) transfer from the cloud to the new console one I sign in with my Gamertag on the new console and, if so, will the saves be saved to the internal hard drive on
the new console or will the old game saves be from the cloud-only on the new console?

Will Scorpio play with Xbox One S?

I'm trying to decide if I should get the Xbox One S or wait for Project Scorpio. If Scorpio is coming out in June I'll definitely wait, but that is unlikely (Unless Xbox wants to be even more awesome). But my friends have the Xbox One S and are getting the
Scorpio so, will Xbox One S players be able to play with Scorpio players and are the games going to change to different "Scorpio" games like what happened when the Xbox One came out?

So, does this mean that once the Xbox One Scorpio comes out, the games will be optimized for the Scorpio and then downgraded for the Xbox One and Xbox One S?

As long as your current console is online and you are signed in all of your game progress should also be getting held on the Microsoft servers and when you connect the Xbox One S or Scorpio your new console will synchronize with this game save information.

 

Will the game saves be saved on the physical internal hard drive of he new console or will I not be able to use them if my internet goes out?

There are no options on where to save data on the ONE as there was on the 360.

 

Saves are automatically sync'ed between systems, if you buy an xbox one s it would be like playing on an xbox one. You won't notice a difference in how games access save files, plug in the new system and download your profile. Boot up a game and wait while
the game syncs, your save data will then be available offline as well.

Every time you see the sync your system is sync'ing your offline save with your cloud save, and it will work the same on S and Scorpio.

 

On Xbox One, saves are automatically stored on both internal HDD and the Cloud, so if the internet is out you can continue playing with your offline save, and the next time you connect that offline save will be uploaded to sync the two storage devices.

Saves are transferred automatically if you buy an S, and we have no reason to believe this would be different with the Scorpio considering it is slated to support all current Xbox One games.
