Game save issue?

Idk if this will seem familiar to any of you but yesterday i was playing forza horizon 3 when i was asked to do a 3.6gb update, i accepted it and it went through after the second time of asking (first time failed due to connection problems), however, after
i restarted, it asked me to do the initial xbox setup again, i completed that and went to the home screen, noticing that all of my profile data was still intact.

I loaded up forza horizon 3 again (first time after the update) and it wanted me to sync the data, it got stuck at 99% and then failed, i clicked try again and it seemed to do it in an instant. I then noticed something very, very odd, i had been booted back
right to the beginning of the game with no cars, no money and at lvl 1. Another odd thing was that all my club leader and vip badges were next to my name, and all of my dlc and bonus board, road discovery etc. records were still there, so the data was there
somewhere, but not where the game was. Can someone help? Sorry for the long post!! I was lvl 492 and had around 380 cars before this happened.

Save game corrupted

Sorry you're having issues with your save. If you have a corrupt save, then yes the only solution would be to delete the local save and resync with the cloud. If you find that the cloud save is corrupted too, then unfortunately you will likely need to start
over on the game. Sorry for the bad news

 

Save Game Issues

Has anyone lost their saves completely? I finally got all the way to level 50, and then was having issues with SmartGlass, so they made me do a bunch of stuff and one of those was reset the system to factory settings.

However, once I did, and re-installed the game, I started to play and it started me at the beginning at level 1. WTF. We can't manage our save files in any way, and so even though it's 'synced to the cloud', it thinks I'm level 1 now? No way am I going
through all that again.

Anyone know how to fix or find your save info so that I can revert or anything like that? This new 'feature' of not being able to see your saves is BS.

If you haven't already tried, please give your Xbox One a full power cycle to see if there's any change. Hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off, then start it back up. If you're still having troubles, try removing your profile and add
it back to see if that helps. Let us know how it goes
