Game save is glitched

During the cutscene where you meet Kai, my character was being shot atby bots. When the cutscene ended my character immediately died, I respawned with the blue attachment for my gun but my objective is now stuck at "investigate the source of the distress
signal", which is permanently stuck above his sandcrawler. I've restarted the game, reloaded the save, died, teleported to another location and back, tried to search for the parts despite not having that objective, and even tried to switch on the sandcrawler
to which my character states "Better get those parts for Kai!". So as of now the game is unplayable, there is no point in exploring as, if there is a fix, I'm betting I'll lose all of my progress.

Try deleting your game save then start a new game. If you modded your save than that save may be glitched.

Hearthfire freezing glitch

If you've been affected by a glitch like this, no patch will fix the existing save file.

Once a file is glitched, it's glitched. A patch will correct the problem in the game system, but you would need to start fresh.

I've had a problem with that quest. Wel the one after it, but still I tried all of that too besides restarting my save file completely. the last thing I tried was teleporting to Kai crawler from violet and then returning to title just to hard turn off my
consol. Through the settings option. It worked the next day.

This is the third time I've had the game bug out with objective markers after dying or loading a save. Seems to be the only one unfixable because you can't just go where you need to be next because you can't dig for the parts until after the radio message.

This is the glitchiest autosave system I've seen in a long time, especially since it only lets you have one file. Love my PC game having that odd limitation in having only one autosave file

I have this issue in The Den (i think that is the name of the instance, mine is in portuguese), not to count that one of the prismatic cores can't be extracted in Slithering Sands after killing the K9s, no aim lock not even moving far or close enough to
keep the Extract tooltip active work and if you die and try to do it again you find yourself caged inside the force field it create and no monster to kill. Have to warp back to base.

Thank you for the reply, I did save to cloud, and it appears that on level 30 I have a saved game+, if I delete that saved game will it lose all my progress ( this is what I do not want to happen) The game loads fine, I go back to last area I played, can
not save it go to a freeze. I noticed the freeze when I beat the wicked clown, just before I open the chest the glitch happen. I can still go back to that but can not progress. When game starts I am at 0 level of wrath and energy. Not sure how to delete the
auto save unless meaning deleted the saved game+ of course my concern is losing all progress thus far, I do appreciate the support and assistance Thank you.

Not really sure how to help but on IGN they have listed reported glitches and in the comments people are listing glitches they have found, some are even replying with remedys to help fix the issue

Hello,

When you say you download some of the dungeons, I assume you mean you download one of the Download packs offered. Could you try deleting the download content you bought and then download it again, you will NOT have to pay again for it. This is just in case
the download content is broken, if your able to load your save but not continue then the save file seems to be working. It is weird that you cannot ask the game to save again or it freezes. Also delete the game update that should be in the same place as the
download content. DO NOT delete your save file.. only extra content and update.

Please try this suggestion and let us know what happens.

Try deleting the autosave file. It must have been corupted somehow. It should make a new autosave file next time it needs to.

This may have been caused by the console freezing during an autosave. Be sure to save manually, often and backup your saves to the cloud to be safe.
