Game Room packs have disappeared!

Eventually when this gets resolved, are all the games going to be available to be purchased and played, or only if had them before?

There are a few I'm looking forward to getting!

 

After reading all this, and it is still "ongoing investigation" with no resolution in sight after a year is very depressing to see from Microsoft and their "Game Room". I would like to purchase "Warloads" and there is no fix in sight on how purchases and
games will continue. Just make a deal with the companies and make a download or buy all fix. [tag:GetitTogether]

 

This morning I decided to re-download Game Room and the arcade games I bought for it. I can report that I'm able to play my games again and I have experienced no freezing issues. Unfortunately you can't buy anymore games for it but I'm just happy to have
my games again. Also, I didn't re-download the compatibility packs so maybe that was the issue the whole time. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks for the update, Ray! Content will not be purchasable any longer, but we are working on getting the content working for those that have bought it.

Can anyone else confirm that it's working for them now? I'd like to pass this along to those that are looking into this for an update.

 

This issue will never be resolved, as there is no longer a server to support Game Room. The Microsoft corp. wants us to forget that they stole our money, and move on. Why this thread is still open is beyond me. Mark it as solved (we stole your money) and
close it.

 

The Game Room servers are operational as far as I can tell. I played a ranked game of Asteroids Deluxe just now and I was seeing my rank move up the ladder as I played.

 

I'm having this issue too. What's more frustrating is the fact that there are clearly people on the net still wanting to purchase Game Room games - yet Microsoft doesn't seem to want their money.

I have packs 6-13 and I also have Game Room itself - yet I never "purchased" any of the games from within the game itself and now I can't buy them at all.

Makes no sense to me.

It would be great, Mrs Quinzel if this could be passed back up the chain.

Just wanted to check in here to determine one thing and this is important so I need specifics.
Are you still seeing an error playing the Game Room content you have already purchased in the past? We want to ensure that if you for example downloaded Game Pack 7 and purchased Asteroids from within that Game Pack that you can launch Game
Room on your Xbox 360 and play that specific game without issue.

That is the scenario I am looking to ensure is working properly here. If you are experiencing issues with that scenario, please let me know in this thread. If you are unable to launch and play the games you have actually paid to unlock, then I want to know
about that. Also, if you are having issues with this, are you able to resolve those issues by launching Game Room while
NOT connected to Xbox Live? This is the current suggested workaround for these issues but we are looking if it would be possible to improve that experience. More to come on that soon.

I do not need to know if you are having issues purchasing new games as it has been determined that new purchases from within Game Room are no longer supported. This is unfortunate but right now I'm focusing efforts on making sure the game and already purchased
content works without issue. Please let me know if you still experience issues with the sentence

We've given this some time for you all to respond. Because we have had no response, we're now going to close this thread down.

First, I want to make it clear that Game Room packs can no longer be purchased. You are free to download them from your Download History or the website if you already purchased them, but no further purchases for this game can be made.

Second, if you are having issues accessing your content while connected to Xbox Live, the workaround is to go offline on your account. You will need to disconnect your console from any internet connection to be able to do that. This is the only resolution
to be able to play the game at this time.

If you continue to have issues outside of these two scenarios, please post up a new detailed thread so that our community can work on helping you out. Thanks for understanding!
