Game Room packs have disappeared!

I wonder how much it would cost them to refund everyone? Probably cheaper to do a license extension. Also without the ability to connect to the servers which seems to be issue also means that the windows phone games won't link to my account either!!

I don't think we are asking for much as a game community here. Either a disc release or fix the issue. Please.

Thank for the reply Misses Q! I normally don't post too much but I've been following this since earlier this year to see if I would be able to get the game packs to work that were purchased. I have them all but can only play about 5 games. The leaderboards
are still available and visiting other arcades just not using the content that's already on there. If you can give us a heads up please let us know what your next steps may be to fixing this issue

 

Also the windows phone games don't appear to connect to the server either.

 

Still going to post so that you don't forget about us. Still missing some purchases I paid for but not showing in arcade. Maybe if they update and make it backwards compatable to renew the licenses. I know quite a few ppl will to spend some bucks on this
especially if it was an all in one bundle. But also still waiting for a fix on when we can play the games we purchased because it seems like if they weren't put into your arcade before the update they're not available

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem but it's too bad to see they've pretty much abandoned Game Room. I started it up today to play some games and buy a new one and all it does is freeze on me. Thankfully I can play offline but without leaderboards,
medals or achievements, which sucks.

I don't believe that they're "looking into this" at all because they know why it's not working. They've got our money and now it's time to pull the plug, even if it messes up our games and achievements.

 

As I understand it, Game Room has been delisted / removed from the marketplace. This happens for a number of reasons, one of which is licensing issues. Because this game uses online a primarily online component (which is how it connects the GFWL and 360
versions) it likely doesn't work because there is no server any longer, which I suspect, again, has to do with licensing issues. This has nothing to do with not caring because they already have your money. I have the game, too, and would like to have finished
all of the achievements. But I did not spend the time necessary to do so before the servers went down. That's my fault, and not anybody else's.

 

This has been a dead issue since Feb/Mar 2015 - it isn't going to be fixed as it's only a 360 game and not a Xbox One game. It didn't even make the backwards compatible list to vote on. I think they are just waiting for everyone here to forget about it
and move on to the Xbox One. I wish they would just come out and admit it instead of saying they are looking into it for the last 8 months.

 

Are there any further updates on progress?

I'm having a huge issue getting Game Room to work on my 360 and PC!

So I thought why not vote to bring Game Room back and make it BC on the XBOX One!

Unless you have the resources/finances to file a class action lawsuit against the Microsoft Corporation nothing will ever be done about this.
