Game refuses to install.

a month or so ago i uninstalled BF4 to make room for some other games.

yesterday i tried to re install BF4 (after making enough room for it)

generally it reaches 44% and then just stops.

i Tried installing when not connected to the internet and power cycling the console. i've installed (or at least it tells me i have) all the DLC including premium (looked for them in the marketplace and installed each individually)

when online it says i need to install an update, so i select yes and it barely goes past 1% before stopping.

how can i get this game to install properly?

FIFA 15 refuses to install

Hi Guys - looking for some advice. Just bought FIFA15 (disk) for my sons birthday. Tried to install it and it says installing, quickly followed by installation stopped.

If you check My Apps and Games, it never appears at all in the Queued list.

In notifications it lists fifa15 with the only option available being 'Free up space'.

I have over 70gb of free space - so that cant be the issue.

Tried the usual tricks of going offline and hard rebooting - but no luck.

Even took the disk back and had it exchanged for a new copy.

All suggestions welcome.

Quick update - will successfully install other games - both digital copies and disk based copies - just seems to be the fifa it doesnt like - but seems odd that i have now tried 2 different copies of the game, both with same result.

By power cycling, have you just turned it off or held the logo on your console until it powered down? If you have held the logo, try doing that and then unplugging your power cord for 5 minutes. Plug it all back in and try again. Also, when installing a
game, I always say Update Later because installing updates and a game at the same time makes it slow to a crawl. Some games take over an hour to install too, so it's possible that it hasn't completely frozen.

i tried what you suggested. it reached 45% and stopped. after leaving it for an hour or so it had not changed. :/

yeah having the same problem here with a digitally purchased game stuck on 1 percent even after an hour and power cycling and so on

I followed all these steps and nothing changed, still having the same issue

I have already done the reset step previously but I can try it again, there arent any folders relating to Forza Motorsport 7 in the windowsapp folder so nothing to delete there

Try the reset steps that I share it please, also you could try looking for the game files on the windowsapp folder and delete them before trying to reinstall

I reset the app and restarted my pc and also installed it in a different location and I am still having the same issue
