Game refunds/policy

I just want you to know that Microsoft is an absolute joke. So I purchased Gears 5 and as per Microsoft's "policy" you have 2 weeks or 2 hours of playtime. Stupid me, as a long time fan of the franchise decided to stick it out. Here we are 3 weeks later
and the game is still broken. That's what I get for trying to stick with the game and be an honest person

This is a link to Microsoft's official thread ACKNOWLEDGING THE GAMES ISSUES. I have since sent a ton of refund requests but again Microsoft's 2 hour policy makes me ineligible. Regardless, the game is broken and is acknowledged as such and should therefore
superseded any "policy" I have also had many agents telling me to reply to explain my situation which is a flat out LIE as I have easily replied to a dozen emails to which all i receive is either an auto generated case closure confirmation or the exact same
auto generated denial of a refund. No one in 2 weeks and close to 100 emails has replied to me.

You need to change this refund policy immediately. You claim it's so that the customer is empowered and is able to reach you anywhere. Really the only reason you do it is because it makes it easier to avoid contact with consumers and easier to just auto
reply with a no. I currently own a broken product and am legally entitled a refund regardless of your policy. Policy does not supersede law and Microsoft are criminals for keeping my money.

It's not try before you buy

That's what reviews and trials are for NOT REFUNDS

The amount of refunds are dependent on YOU

If they see you are downloading games and playing as fast as possible to beat the game and refunding the refund policy they will limit your refunds

It is pretty generous

It could be like Sony's policy once you download it you own it

And it could be worse

Marketplace suspension for abusing the refund policy is worse it could mean you cant buy a game for a month or forever etc

I'm extremely sorry that you've had such a bad experience. Not every experience can be a food one, Lord knows I've had a few bad times with support.

I JUST said I have replied to well over a dozen of those emails specifically. Did you even read my post?
