GAME REFUND NOT SHOWING UP

Sorry but please can you help me again? It seems it's impossible to get a refund for a game bought as a gift. Is there a way to make this happen?

The Xbox refund policy states;

Refunds are typically issued for requests meeting the following criteria:

• Requests are made within 14 days of the purchase date
  
• Requests are for games in which you haven’t accumulated a significant amount of play time
  

Note As a limited exception, digital game products may be eligible for a refund within 30 days if you’re unsatisfied with the license agreement or warranty, but only if you do not make or retain any copies.

I bought "Zombies Chronicles" as a gift for 'BellaFlame1983' but there does not seem to be a way to request a refund. It would be nice to get refund on this as then I could buy the full package as a gift for her also.

It was within 10 minutes of my request. But I bought it as a gift also and it seems they have this policy.



Returns and Refunds. Gifts may be canceled and refunded to the Gift purchaser up to 14 days after the purchase or until redeemed by the Gift recipient, whichever occurs first. Gift recipients are not entitled to a refund or cooling off period, and you acknowledge that no refund will be made, except as required by law.

Now the gift was 'redeemed by the gift recipient' but obviously she cant play it because she doesnt have the base game and now there is no way to request a refund. So that kind o' sucks but hey I did get my refund and she has Xbox One so we can purchase the base game and all will be ok.

It seems that the fact you cant get a refund for a game bought as a gift is a touchy subject lol

I'm sorry your refund is taking longer than you like, however be aware that it is not possible to speed up refunds. If you request a refund from funds made from your account balance this will be refunded within a few days.

If your original purchase was made with a Credit/Debit card it will take between 3-5 business days to process. This is the standard time frame for card refunds.
