Game Purchase Help!!

Okay, so I want to buy my boyfriend Black Ops 2 with my credit card online, but want it to be a surprise, so I can't exactly just tell him to buy it himself.

If I sign into his account on my xbox, can I purchase the game, and he download it on his xbox when he gets home?

So I get the "Person Who Bought this needs to sign in" message.I know the whole deal is that who ever downloaded their profile on your Xbox is supposed to put it on their home or something,but what if you share mutliple profiles on the same Xbox?I'm not
about talking the friend who comes ever so often to play and he HAPPENS to download his profile.Im talking about sharing the console with your siblings 24-7.The only thing I know is that my friend has his profile downloaded here and he's the host or something
and I can play his games,but what I can't play the same damn game MY brother bought on the SAME Xbox?Even if it's free? What the **** this annoying man..

 

Next time he is using his Xbox, surprise him by saying you`re getting him Blops2 for his birthday.

Or just buy a hard copy from a store in complete secrecy

 

You cannot purchase a game on your account, then have another account download it.

The rights to the game will go to the gamer tag that push's the confirm purchase button.

You could always log onto his xbox and his gamer tag, when he is not present of course. add your card info to the payment option then purchase the game while logged into his account.

Then just remove card from payment option.

If he receives Email alerts for his account he will know as soon as he sees the email that BO2 was purchased. It might even be kinda funny cause he may think someone hacked him.

Just make sure to tell him it was you before he gets on with support and wastes their time.

If that's too much work then as stated above simply but a hard copy from a store.

It will probably be cheaper that route anyway.

Just get a copy from GAME or other shop or online from 1 of the many websites.

 

You could always get a prepaid cash card and purchase it

if you buy the game on your Xbox you will have to be signed in as his gamer tag whatever it may be

just purchase it and download it then when he gets or whatever it should give you an option to re download the game but when u try to download the game again it will say download started on another system so just cancel the download from the Xbox your on
then it should just start downloading but you have to use his Xbox live account to buy the game and when it says its assigned to another console just keep trying re download it should start automatically!

But then they would need to do a license transfer. Something that can only be done a few times a year, those should be saved for incase a console swap for repair or any other reason occurs.
