Game Publishers

I thought that wayt too but Minecraft Dungeons is published under the Microsoft Studios too. And it's going to be released 1 month later

Forgive me if I get the years wrong, but I believe between 2011- early 2019, It was known as Microsoft Studios.

Since then, it is now known as Xbox Game Studios.

So it could be games that were developed prior to the 2019 name change.

I think if these companies find a way to enhance our gaming experience or accessabiltiy to games i am fully behind it - though if they all start wanting to charge for a different Registration and we find ourselves putting our hands in the wallet for Gamepass,
then there Launcher programs etc, that will upset a lot of gamers.

It'd be unfortunate if we had to subscribe to different services in order to play certain games

It is an interesting concept but personally I don't want multiple subscriptions. I'd like to have one subscription that gives me access to many games across all publishers.

Sadly it'll probably end up with the abomination we have with video streaming services. They're used to be one of two, now every studio has their own and removed their content from other platforms so you need to pay a lot for many subscriptions to get access
to varied content.
