    Game progress not being saved


    I know from reading previous posts that this post won't get a response, but I'll give it a try anyway. I running on Windows 10, playing Microsoft Jigsaw. I recently had to reset my computer and have had to reinstall my apps. When I download most of the puzzles
    I completed the puzzles are intact and my stars are there, but most of the puzzles I have done recently I'm going to have to pay for and replay. I was down to the last puzzle group, Italy. If there is a file on my computer holding the information, I'd like
    to know where it is. If it's supposed to be in the cloud, I wonder why the cloud isn't keeping it. Anyone have any ideas?

    BF4 unplayable

    Single Player progress is not being saved once switched to another game, and Multiplayer kicks me back to the home screen constantly. This game is completely unplayable.

    Hello EelvatedOne282,

    Did you make sure that you are logged in through a stable connection? Did you manually check for Windows and game updates and selected Restart on your device afterwards?

    When you launch the game you should see a syncing indication or in your settings you have an account where progress are being saved.

    I considered that, but am concerned about his game progress being lost in the process. He doesn't have an Xbox Live account to back up his progress to the cloud. Are game save files deleted during the uninstall/reinstall process?

    slightly related - what is the point of the mid mission save statues? I always save at them, but isn't it saving your game at the checkpoint that always immediately occurs at the screen where you find the save statue? I thought I might be able to quit
    and resume from those statues, but you can't - at least not in story. So what is the point of the save statues?

    Wow - I was wrong. Turns out that I didn't give the game a chance to load from my previous save statue position. I was confused because the mission I left was Amon Hen - when I loaded my save, I was in the canoes paddling and I assumed I would start the
    mission from the beginning. In stead when I arrived at the shore the mission started from the save statue position.

    There should be a "Save and Quit to Middle Earth" option when saving at the statue. That would make things a little more clear.
