    Game progress lost


    My xbox one is acting weird all day! I've tried playing NBA2K15 and all my character's progress (my saved files) are gone. I've also played Battlefield Hardline and my campaign (episodes) restarted. Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Unity is stuck on the start
    up screen. When pressing "A to start," it reloads to that screen again. My internet explorer won't start. I kept popping up "error." My friends tried logging on their profiles on MY xbox and all their progress are gone too. BUT when logging on to their xbox
    using my profile, my progress are all there! The assassin's creed works, my internet explorer works, everything was still the same on THEIR xbox one. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my xbox itself or the server. But I hope to get this fixed soon.

    Lost game progress

    Have you made sure to log into your account through a stable connection? Have you checked whether you are playing the most recent version of the games? You should also manually check for Windows updates, install any missing updates (including optional ones),
    and restart your device afterwards, even if not prompted to do so.

    Lost Game Progress

    I have an X1 and just bought an X1 S to use on my 4k TV. I was @ 60% on Just Cause 3 on my older system including DLC for Mech, Sky, Spark, etc.. Installed JC 3 on the S and now my Save Game is missing on both systems.

    I worked with support on 12/20 and my reference number is 1367282964 but we were unable to recover the saved file with the progress.

    What I think happened is that, when I went to play it on the S, it started from the beginning and then synced in the cloud to my account. When I went to Play it on the X1 original, it synced with
    the cloud and overwrote my saved game.

    How can I get the Saved Data file in the cloud that had my progress on it?

    Could you please try powercycling your console?

    1. Hold your finger on the power button for 15 seconds
    2. Unplug all cables from the console
    3. Wait 5 minutes
    4. Reconnect all the cables
    5. Boot up your console

    I've been having issues with my Internet connection lately. The WiFi has been disconnecting quite often. That has happened long after having completed all the Jigsaw Jam puzzles. Now for some reason, all that progress has been lost.

    Hey there -

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Unfortunately, if you accidentally overwrote your initial save file, there is no way for us, or anyone, to recover the old save. The new save file will take precedence over the new and effectively erase the old data.

    I'm truly sorry for the frustration.
