Game Progress Doesn't Transfer from PC

I like to play games on both console and PC through the Game Pass subscription. I have been noticing lately that none of my save data transfers over for games when I try to play the same game on both. As an example, I was playing Cross Code and Gato Roboto
on the Xbox Game Pass app on the PC. Then I downloaded them on the console and loaded them up, but my save data wasn't there. This was disheartening that I would have to start back over from the beginning.

Another downfall is that the Xbox Game Pass app on the PC doesn't seem to want to give me achievements for games. In Gato Roboto I have gone about 40% of the way through the game and not received any achievements. Looking at the achievement list I should
have at least 2 or 3 by this point in the game. I am not sure what the problem is. I am signed in everywhere on the same account. It just makes me not want to play games on game pass for the PC because I feel like I would not be rewarded, or be playing for
nothing since I would have to restart if I play the game on console later.

The cloud gaming is great, but what is the point if I play a game on the console or PC and then travel somewhere and play the same game on my tablet but have none of my progress?

Okay. That makes sense. I can understand that process. How come then my achievements won't activate for Gato Roboto? I am playing Battletoads on Game Pass for PC now and even though that is not a play anywhere title, I am still getting achievements in
that just fine. Is Gato Roboto possibly bugged on PC?

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Only the Play Anywhere titles in the Game Pass library supports save games across platforms.

The PC version of that game doesn't have achievements. So you would only unlock achievements if you play it on the console.

That's odd that the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass title in the Xbox App doesn't have achievements associated with it, but alright. I have seen weirder things in the tech and gaming industry. Thank you for the reply and information.
