Game Profile Removal

Here is my issue…

When I first set up my xbox 360 profile with my @live.com account, I just used it for a very short time.
I later set up another xbox 360 profile with my @carolina.rr.com email account and have been using this profile ever since.

At this time I need to say that from what I found to remove 1st profile, just remove it from my console.
So okay… Done. Not what I needed.

From now on, PROFILE will refer to xbox 360 1st profile or Xbox one X 2nd
profile.

The following is what I have ended up with and what I want done…

·
1st profile is still associated with my @live.com account.
I need this profile GONE.

·
2nd profile associated with my @carolina.rr.com account.
I need to move this to my @live.com account.

·
On my desktop PC xbox app, the 2nd profile shows up okay.

Summary

I want my 1st profile @live.com gone and the 2nd
profile @carolina.rr.com account moved to my @live.com account.

if you remove your friends profile and make it back to your profile on your home console do you lose your friends games? does their profile always have to be on your xbox as home console to be able to play their games?

First time use/setup

Set up a throw away account with the 14 day live trial. Install day one update and games then remove profile

Hi there,

The easiest thing to do is to move profile 1 to a third email address. Then with the Live account freed up, put it on profile 2.

After that, if you want, you can put the Carolina.rr address onto profile 2.

What Mistress Sara Said is partly correct.

What you are wanting to do is not possible since the @live.com account is already a Microsoft account if you remove it from the current xbox profile it will delete that email and you will lose it FOREVER. (you will not be able to sign back into it.) And
once it is gone there is NOTHING anyone can do to get it back.

so DO NOT remove your @live.com email from that account after adding a new email to it. unless you do not care about losing that email address.

I agree with whats been said already. If you are having issues though, you may want to perform a soft reset. This will restore your Xbox to factory default settings but keep the installed apps & games. May sort out the issues you are having with your saved
game data by removing your profile.

Info on how to do that can be found here - Reset Console To Factory Default

Make sure you choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option.

No you won't. You will probably be prompted that the console is syncing your save game from the cloud as soon as you start a game again, but all of your installed and downloaded games will remain on your console.
