Game profile missing from games after update

Good morning! My xbox 360 required a system update this morning. I performed the update as required. When it finished downloading the update my console glitched, then it asked to create a profile or download profile. When I looked in my hard drive I noticed
my profile was wiped but game content was still there. Now all my games are like I've just took them out of the box and have to start over even though the information is still there. My profile info for those games no longer exist. Is there anyway to get that
info back or do I just have to start over?

lost data and profiles

I lost my game data and profiles after downloading an update and content for Battlefield 3. The storage device shows that is has data on it (space available), but when going to the dashboard-storage is shows zero Kb of profile data, game data, etc... all
profiles are missing from the dashboard. I downloaded my profile from XBOX live, so I was able to recover that...but as I stated...ALL game saves, updates, purchases, patches, are not accessible. Please assist...

 

Missing profiles from non-LIVE accounts

After the latest update, all of the profiles on my 360 were missing. I was able to download mine (LIVE account), but both of my kids' profiles are missing. I've tried clearing the cache and rolling back the update without success. I feel bad for them because
they have both worked really hard towards goals in their games.

Any ideas?

 

Have you re-downloaded your Xbox Live account?

 

Yep I did that and all my downloadable content is there but in game progress and completion has been reset to beginning as if I just bought the game. Is there any way to recover THAT lost info or do I just have to play over from scratch? Feeling disappointed

 

Are your game saves shown in settings -> storage? Did you use the Cloud Service?

 

Yep but no profile saves are showing up. My profile is no longer attached to my game saves that I can find anywhere. Did the cloud but still same thing. It's confusing to me but not surprised, that's just my luck. I've been researching all day with no
luck. Can't figure it out. If the info is still there, you'd think I should be able to retrieve it but I can't. Look but no touchy

 

From what I can see is all game downloadable content, no profile saves or game completion saves. I was wrong in my previous blog about game saves being there

 

Then you will have to start your games from the beginning. There is no way to restore your saves. I am sorry.
