    any ho, does anyone know when the prices are released for the store, because I'm getting worms this week and would prefer to download it but can't find a price for it any where,

    There's also the issue of bloated budgets in videogames. Even if you cut manufacturing costs, the expenses are simply too large and, well, they have to recoup the money somehow. That's assuming we're talking triple A games here.

    it might have something to do with the cost of servers and whatnot. more games come out taking up space, need more servers. more people online downloading games, need more servers...

    No idea mate. Don't they usually price it when they stick it up for download. The store is usually a tad more expensive then disc if not on par. I cant find it either, just had a look.

    I haven't seen a price for the download version but I gather as most online retailers are advertising Worms Battlegrounds for around £25-27 it will be £30 for digital.

    Cheers peeps that's what I thought, I've only seen the price when it's actually up, I'm getting it for 23 through shopto but was hoping to download as I see it as an arcade game and didn't wanna swap disk just for five mins of gameplay lol

    Hey there,

    Thanks for posting. I definitely understand the concern, however both discounts are 50% off the base game price. For this specific title, the base price of the game is determined by the publisher of the game, and not Microsoft. Prices definitely can vary
    by region, and for 3rd party titles that is up to the publisher of the game to set.

    I hope this helps clear up the concern.
