Game Preorder for Microsoft Windows

I use PC and do not own an xbox but would like to preorder a deluxe edition game. Is the deluxe edition only a physical copy or is there any way to preorder a physical copy for microsoft windows? Could I use an emulator to access the play anywhere feature
if I buy a copy for xbox? Thanks for any help.

The PC version of Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga isn't available on the Windows Store. It can only be purchased as a digital only download from Steam

Microsoft only sells a limited number of PC games on the Windows Store. Most PC games are sold from Steam, Epic or EA's Origin Store.

All games sold on the Windows Store are digital only. For the most part PC physical disc games are a thing of the past for PC. You don't get physical version of a game off any online PC game distributer.

I wanted to preorder the deluxe edition for Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga, but I can only find it being sold for consoles in physical copies despite it claiming to be compatable with microsoft windows.

This horse crap, what the hell!! Microsoft should have said, "Preorder the game on Xbox and then get it a week or ten days later on Windows 10". This makes me so angry, way to be totally nontransparent with your customers...What the hell Microsoft?
