game play issue that for some reason is affecting my game and not others, why?

So when the april 1st minecraft prank came i went and just played the game but all of the sudden i dont know how or why this happend but whenever i try to drag my items i had to drag it instead of the usual just clicking it once and my mouse holds it i now have to hold the left click button to hold it down and drag it to another space in my inventory. and another issue is that if i go into creative mode and try to take one 64 stack of an item btw it applies to all items. the item thats in the box just dissapears when i grab it but it does show up that my mouse has it but the creative inventory spot where i took it from is empty? im not sure if im explaining this correctly but i dont think this should be happening. anyways if i let go before i put the item in my inventory it just goes back into its slot where i dragged it from instead of staying with my mouse since i grabbed the item. also not even the quick grabbing or put away feature works when i try to put things away by pressing shift and left click on my mouse and keyboard, i dont think my shift button is broken because when i try to crouch it responds immediately everytime and acts normal as it should. i asked my friends if theyre having the same issue and they arent its only me so i was thinking maybe this is a bug.. btw i did try to uninstall and reinstall my minecraft which it is the Java version of the game but it didnt seem to work and the only way i could play things normally is if i use a mod to play normally bc i use that and those issues are gone but if i load my game without all of these issues i stated come back and now i cant really enjoy my game normally. and i dont know how to fix this at all either without the use of a mod to fix it. oh yeah i reset my key binds 3 times and it didnt fix it either.
