Game Play Capture

I'm getting really frustrated with the whole "XBOX record that". There have been many times when where I would have loved to record an awesome moment, but could not capture it because i have to tell XBOX to record, and record only a short brief moment.
Why can't we have the same video capture as the PS4 where it automatically records 15 minutes of game play? Will the XB1 ever get that feature?

Game captures will not play

I'm also having this issue. I've uploaded video captures to OneDrive and tried to view them through the OneDrive app, and even on my computer, and they still won't play. I can open them using VLC, but converting to a different format won't work either. Is
this an issue with the Dashboard update? My console was just recently updated.

 

Game captures will not play

Using version 1709.0829.1041 of the Xbox app on iOS, any game captures that I have in Xbox Live will NOT play through the app at all. The video player screen comes up but then just sits there. Appears as if there is no video trying to load at all

 

you can double tap the home button and press x instead of saying it, you can also capture up to 5 minutes if you snap game dvr and then select end clip so yeah the feature is here

 

sorry I think you can add to 15 minutes or more too, in the new update I think

 

still, you have to tell/use buttons to turn on the record session, which just sucks compared to the ps4.

never had to do that. after the game is done and you press the button it brings you to the record section and asks you if you want to save your game data, but never have i had to press it to start recording.

either way, even if i had to press the button, it records 15 minutes of gameplay. i think that xbox should be able to do that as well rather then the 5 minutes it allows.

We understand the frustrations, there is some games that auto upload every awesome clip. Unfortunately this most of the time is "too much" for the activity feed.

Quite possibly, not many of your friends want to see every awesome thing you ever did when you are so awesome in every game. They may end up saying something of the sort "Dude, you are awesome! I know this already! Stop flooding my activity feed!"

Although sometimes it would be a little easier in different ways, I think this way is the best solution for viewings of groups. Feedback is always welcome though and who knows, maybe in the future there might be a cooler way to "Xbox, record that."

You can use the SmartGlass App as well, last I knew, by clicking the game title you are playing and then Clicking "Record That"
