    Hi, I'm new to the Xbox One.

    I've set up gamertag for myself & my 8 year old son. I then purchased from my account 2 games for him - Lego Avengers & Unravel both rated 7, When he logs on to the xbox one and tries to play these games it's telling us that I have to be signed in as I purchased
    the games under my account. How do I give him permission to play these 2 games without me being signed in ?

    I have him on family and access restricted to a 10 year old

    Is your account a child of another Microsoft account? Parent accounts can block certain Xbox Live functionalities.

    I am trting to load fortnite on my sons x box 1x. It keeps.asking for an email to allow certain features but it wont recognose any email. help appreciated

    Is this a problem with permissions inside the game or with parental permissions on the Xbox?

    How i did it was add a second account that was well over the age of 18. Went to family settings in the account section and made the account the “acting adult of my original” and gave access to multiplayer features bla bla bla
