Game pass won’t work offline

I recently moved out and don’t have internet what so ever bar mobile data and I can’t access any of my games from game pass ultimate however I’ve paid for it for the past 2 month and haven’t been able to use it unless I’m on the internet

I understand you need help with playing offline.

If I may ask, are you playing on the Xbox console?

Make sure that your Home Xbox is set first on your console before going online. You can only access games that has an offline mode as well when it comes to playing games while offline.

Yeah I just bought Xbox game pass ultimate and now it works. That includes Xbox live pass. So strange they won’t just make that known.

It depends on the game....a lot of Game Pass games require an active internet connection as they have integral Multiplayer components or need to be online all the time.

Games that have neither can be played offline providing you have put the console into offline mode when you still have an active internet connection

Are you sure? Because I was informed by Microsoft when buying the subscription that I could play those games offline as long as I logged into Xbox Live every 30 days.
