    game pass ultimate subscription payment


    i bought an xbox 3 months ago and wanted to switch to live gold but when i tried to pay ,the payment method didnt work (phone)

    now the game pass subscription was renewed but past due ,i can´t access anything

    i have multiple questions

    is it a glitch that i´m getting error on this type of payment right now?

    does that mean i can´t play until i pay or can i still buy live gold and access free games?

    The reason i picked this payment is that i still have alot of money on my prepaid card and i dont like to share credit card infos if not necessary

    Game Pass Ultimate is a subscription service and as such requires a valid payment method for each monthly amount.

    At this point in time there is no other way to purchase Game Pass Ultimate, other than by subscription. So Microsoft account balance will not cover it.

    Keep in mind that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass Console and Game Pass PC. So when your GP Ultimate subscription renews, that will keep you playing online. You'll be fine as long as that subscription payment goes through without
    issue.

    When you added the one month of Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft converted your existing year of Xbox Live to Game Pass Ultimate. It became 1 subscription.

    Xbox Live and Game Pass are two separate subscription, but Xbox Live and Game Pass Ultimate basically get merged into one.

    In other words, when you thought you were cancelling the Game Pass Ultimate, it cancelled the Xbox Live remainder too.

    I'm switching to Game Pass Ultimate because I play on the PC a lot too, so it makes sense to add Game Pass for PC to my set of Xbox subscriptions. Having them all tied into one payment with Ultimate just makes it easier. Plus, with my current active subscriptions,
    I'll be good on Ultimate for around 2 years.
