Game pass Ultimate stopped working.

While I was playing MGS 5 last night I got an error message about online which I ignored since it wasn't affecting me at that time. When I got on to play Apex Legends just now, it kept telling me to buy an Xbox Live Gold or Game pass Ultimate subscription
and wouldn't let me play despite the fact that I have an Active Game pass Ultimate subscription. I checked enforcement and I have no active suspensions, and I checked my Microsoft account details and it says that my subscription is still active with no issues.
I also can't simply re-buy the subscription because every time I do I get an error message. Anyone know what the problem is?

It's worth noting that over the past few days random people have been friending me on Xbox. I've been doing FOB missions in MGS 5 so I just assumed they were friending me so their friends could target my FOB with them. What really made me think something was
wrong was that the moment I realized something was wrong with my account I was friended by an Ambassador (I asked him if something was wrong and why he friended me but he didn't respond to any messages). Note that I don't talk much in online games and rarely
post activity feed posts. Part of me feels like my issues could be the result of my account getting hacked but I'm not knowledgable enough in the subject to know if that's possible.

Update: Signing out and back in doesn't solve the problem. Game pass games I haven't bought are unplayable.

UPDATE: I fixed it. For some reason Xbox tried to renew it with my Microsoft account wallet which had only $1 in it. So when a week passed it locked me out of the subscription. I just cancelled and restarted the subscription to fix it.
