Game Pass Ultimate - Sharing subscription on my son's PC

Not with just PC Game Pass as that would only be for the PC, not the console. Game Pass Ultimate would include both Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass as well as Gold (which is needed to play online on the console). Why doesn't family sharing work on PC with my Ultimate subscription? My son can use our family Ultimate on his Xbox but not on PC.

Just an update, I contacted Xbox Technical Support and after investigation they refreshed my Ultimate Game Pass subscription as they thought it wasn’t quite syncing with my console.

This was successful and my son is able to go online gaming without me signing in and thus sharing my Ultimate Game Pass subscription.
