Game Pass Ultimate Plans Now Available (3, 6, 12, 24 month)... Costs More Than Just Buying...

Today I went in to my Microsoft Account (not just XBox Account) to manage my payment options and subscriptions because I had to get new cards.

I was changing my payment method for my Game Pass Ultimate and noticed I could change the plan as well on the screen you can choose to change the payment method.





I clicked on it and got this screen... (notice the monthly rate x months paying for is in red and is more than just paying month by moth)





I am guessing someone just did the math wrong as one would normally think buying multiple month subscription would cost less.

$14.99 x 3 months = $44.97

$14.99 x 6 months = $89.94

$14.99 x 12 months = $179.88

$14.99 x 24 months = $359.76

Hey... maybe they are just trying a new business model, like old skool from the movie hackers. Ya know, the worm that funnels just a few cents here and there that no one will miss?!? But really, think of a few cents in terms of how many subscriptions of
anyone who hasn't noticed it costs more in bulk.

Any ideas if this is a mistake or Microsoft wants those devoted long term customers to pay more?
