    Game Pass Ultimate PC games install but don't play


    As of a couple days prior to this post, I upgraded to a new SSD and redownloaded the Xbox App and many of my old, previously purchased games, along with new ones from an even more resent upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate. All of them say they successfully downloaded,
    but I cannot find their files, nor do they load and play. Some say "Administrator approval required for installation" but they already "are". None of my Microsoft games execute, and I have no idea what could be the issue. What could I have done wrong? and
    how would I ever fix it?

    Is game pass ultimate separate from xbox game pass ultimate for pc?

    There is only Game Pass Ultimate not a Game Pass Ultimate for PC.

    Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Game Pass for PC so you don't have to buy them all individually.

    cant install your game on game pass? try these instructions: goto gamepass on pc then find game pass with video then go down and u will see the purchasing orders they are xbox game pass and gamepass ultimate if u want to play ur game then order the ultimate version it unlocks all games complete the order and try to install ur game

    That game was only added to Game Pass for console. So you can play it through the cloud on PC as long as you have Ultimate, but it's not available for install on the PC.

    I appreciate it and that's odd if you don't own the game and you were able to play it, if you don't have an Xbox game pass ultimate or PC Game pass.

    Depends. If you own the game, you don't need Game Pass at all. If you want to play it online on console, you would need Core or Game Pass Ultimate.

    If you don't own the game, it's available through Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass. If you need it through Game Pass and you want to play it online on console, you would want Game Pass Ultimate.
