Game pass ultimate cancellation and previous games with gold from Xbox live

Once you activated the Game Pass Ultimate your Xbox Live Gold was converted to Game Pass Ultimate time. If you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, then you lose your Xbox Live Gold that was converted.

If you have Live Gold in place and buy an Ultimate Game Pass subscription, it converts the remaining Live Gold time into UGP...in effect, you would have then had UGP till next April. So, when you cancelled the UGP, it cancelled everything...cancelling the UGP does not then convert it back to live Gold.

From the T&Cs:

"All conversions to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are final: Once converted, you cannot re-convert your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership back to a previous membership"

If you are referring to losing Xbox Live Gold because you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, there is nothing that can be done. It clearly states that Xbox Live Gold will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate days and can not be reverted and that canceling Game

You can cancel your Game Pass Ultimate membership at any time, and you will
continue to have access to your Ultimate benefits until your prepaid time ends, at which point you will not be charged again.

like the previous post says, turn off auto renew, but do NOT cancel as it will cancel xbox live gold, game pass etc and whatever you have left on it, just turn off auto renew, let things run out then sign up to whichever service you want, ie gold, game pass
or game pass ultimate.

Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold. If you cancelled Ultimate, then you have cancelled Gold. You will have to purchase Gold again.
