    Game Pass ultimate and Xbox live gold confusion


    So today i bought a 3 month xbox live gold to add into my xbox as my game pass ultimate was set to be over at the 7th of july. I added the code and instantly checked at the subscription tab, i noticed how it gave me an extra month of ultimate pass but
    what happened to the other 2 months? Will i still play online once ultimate expires sense i technically have 2 months left? (Even though there is no metion of the 2 months) or will ultimate expire together with the 3 month i added?

    If you buy the xbox game pass/ultimate game pass before purchasing xbox live gold. Your game pass benifts will only last for the time it lasts. Although a good to know trick, is buying gold first and then the ultimate game pass, and your 6months gold will
    be converted into 6months of ultimate. Hopefully you understand, I also found it confusing at first :)

    Once you activated the Game Pass Ultimate your Xbox Live Gold was converted to Game Pass Ultimate time. If you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, then you lose your Xbox Live Gold that was converted.

    Seems like it's not asking you for a Game Pass but it's asking you to subscribe to an Xbox Live Gold subscription, the reason why Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is one of the options is due to the Xbox Live Gold included on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    You will be needing to subscribe to either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play the game, Ghosty2506.

    Once you upgraded to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold will be carried over to Xbox game pass ultimate. For example, if you have Xbox live gold for a year and you upgraded it to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold and xbox game pass for
    console and PC will also be good for 13 months (12 months Xbox live gold+1 month upgrade Xbox game pass Ultimate). If you cancelled the Xbox game pass ultimate, automatically your Xbox live will also be cancelled since it is already merged to the Ultimate.
    You need to contact Xbox Support to reinstate your lost membership.
