Game Pass thinks im a child and wont let me install games

I have the same problem, but I am not a part of any family group. It is just me on that account. Is there anything else I can try?

First you need to find out where the age restriction is, on the microsoft account, or on the device in question.

To change the privacy settings your account must be an adult account, otherwise you will not have access.

if your account is for a child, you need an adult account to link your account and manage your privacy settings

if your account is part of a family group, log out, if you don't know the process, see here, you can try to create another account, and add your account with problems to a new group, and then you can log out without problems and avoid the error.

Yes i was able to log into my profile. Yes im connected to the network and now it wont let me update any game and it wont install fortnite.

Did that. It goes back to my Microsoft account. And it wont let me online unless i have a game pass subscription. This is unreal. I have games that wont come up. Says i have to buy them when i have a while ago. I go to Red Dead Online and it wont let me do it. Im done with this and i cant get anyone on the phone.

Explain that a child made the purchase that likes the play with the controller. Say this was your child. And that you did not think the child was able to purchase anything and that they have become more capable with the controller yet they did not understand
the concept of how much a video game costs. That is a reason that they will refund. They Microsoft wont refund if beyond 14 days, or if the game was pkayed a lot. And if you played it thinking it was a gass pass game.... Just explain the child made the purchase,
and therefore you had no idea it was a costly game.
