Game pass region restrictions on WiFi only.

I am having an issue where I can launch cloud games from my phone on cellular, but when I launch the app on wifi it states I might be region locked and cloud won't work.

I can load the app and turn wifi on and it works.

I am running a Asus GT-AX11000. No VPN stock config for security QoS off. Just grasping at straws for what the configuration change I might need to fix the region lock issue.

I am running a Note10+ and a Samsung Tab S4

To add. I can hotspot my tablet launch the app/and a game then swap to WiFi and it works. There's some kind of initial authentication thats getting me.

Will i potentially get banned if i do play xcloud games on this wifi network with a vpn

Because i am not using it to change regions, i am just using it to get past wifi restrictions

I buy a digital code for Xbox Game Pass but didnt work because the region is not the same .

Your only option would be to get a refund from where ever you purchased the code and then purchase a code that is meant for your region. There isnt any way around the region restrictions that wouldn't break the rules.
