Game Pass Quest Reward point tracking/calculation errors

I notice that my calculation of accumulated reward points sometimes doesn't track correctly. In past I thought multiple browser tabs would cause information reconciliation errors, was a major pain when trying to earn points doing quizzes and other reward
activities. Last couple years it has mostly been pretty good.

In last year or so I noticed problem somehow relating to the Game Pass Quests on the XB1, when I get notifications that a quest is ready to turn in, I think there's an error relating to turning these in. I more often notice that after turning in seems to
put me back points rather than gaining them on top of current balance like it should. Not sure what is happening but it looks more like it reverts balance to maybe around what it was when I earned my Quest completion rather than adding the points to my current
balance at time of turning them in. That basically means I would lose progress made after the quests were completed after turning them in.

I think problem might be related to turning in quests from notification prompt, and/or turning in multiple quests at once. Possibly wonder if this is happening whether it can be avoided by bypassing notification prompts by going to profile page, going to
Gaming tab, and turning quests in there from the Game Pass Quests subsection.

I seem to notice this more when I am approaching a goal to redeem so I know "just a little more", then all the sudden I am like 1K off where I should be. It has happened on a number of occasions.

Just wondering if anybody else has notice or suspected similar issues with points not seeming to add up correctly, or rather, subtracting from your reward points total.
