Game pass problem

I have just tried to play Halo wars 2 and I got a message saying my game pass has expired and to play Halo wars 2 I need to renew it. I haven't used game pass apart from a 14 day free trail last year. I also bought Halo wars 2 from the Xbox store.

Game Pass Problem

Try to reboot your Xbox and see if you have access to games, it sometimes happen that the console doesn't refresh subscription status. If this doesn't help then check your active subscriptions under your account web page. Last resort would be to chat to
someone from MS and ask if they can verify your subscription status: Contact Us | Xbox Support

I have renewed my subscription to the game pass but have not yet subscribed

When you trial gamepass did you play Halowars 2 during that trial. If so after your trial ended did you delet the game install or keep it on your console prior to purchasing it.

If you kept it on your console try deleting the game pass install then install it again from the store

If you have already purchased the game it's yours to keep and it doesn't matter if you have game pass anymore to play it. Try to delete the game, restart the console and download the game again

Hey killerhunter889! For subscription or entitlement issues I would recommend you contact
Xbox Support to go over those two things with you. For troubleshooting steps I would start with a

powercycle to clear the cache and reset your power unit. Hold down the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds and then unplug the power from the Xbox.

These costs, were they added by Microsoft or your bank? When you look at your billing history via your Microsoft Account what figure do you see?

It could be that you were charged fees by your bank which would be out of Microsofts Control.

Hi Le epic Kermit,

MHW Iceborne is an expansion for the MHW game and requires the base game to play it.

When you purchased Iceborne did you buy the edition that game with the base game? If not you will either have to buy MHW or subscribe to GamePass to enjoy the Iceborne expansion.
