    Game pass on my or my sons account?


    I'm new to the Xbox ecosystem. I've setup a child account using Microsoft Family for my son (who'll principally be using the new Xbox) but it's unclear if I should use my own or my sons account to purchase a Game Pass Console subscription. What do people recommend?

    ok, I've seen some esoteric UI designs but this one must take the award for the least intuitive ever invented. Do you know if I can use my Microsoft Authenticator app for passwords rather than typing long complex passwords. I use 25 character random passwords including non-standard characters (generated with a password app), typing them is almost impossible using the controller. Every other MS service simply alerts the MS Authenticator app and I can authorise with a finger scan.

    Thanks Stuart. Although I'm very familiar with MS products (and a C# developer) the options for Xbox are quite baffling at first.

    In my opinion, I would say you the adult should have the subscription on your account, then just share that subscription by making the console the Home Xbox.
