Game pass offline usage problem

I'm also a seaman like you. I have been having issues with my Xbox One S and I wonder if you found a solution to this.

I can only play whatever game I have opened when I connected to internet. If I go offline, I can play the game for probably a few days and the game will itself close on me, going back to the dashboard and forcing me to connect again.

You know how hard is for us to get internet again, so I don't have to explain more.

I purchased some disks and I'm planning to cancel the subscription if this is the way it is. I see in the FAQs that for Windows 10/11 shows 'How to use offline games' question. But for Game Pass for console, they removed that question.

I'm assuming Game Pass for console is now an online-only service.

so what your saying is in order to play gamepass offline you need to connect to the internet and from there go offline with the internet still connected?

gamepass games require check in to authenticate. purchased games and some gold games can be played with the console set to offline mode.

As well as making your console your Home" console, you also switched it into offline mode? If not in offline mode, the console will keep needing a connection for it's checks.

And be aware that you will still need to go online once a month or so as your console will still need to do periodic checks on Game Pass ownership etc

I already make it my home console. And as i mentioned on top when i stop my internet connection without closing the device i can continue playing the game but to be able to go to ship i need to power off my device and when i power it on again thats the time i start having problem even i see my self i have ultimate i have problem opening the game, it starts asking me if i have game pass and does not let me start the game. What i need to figure out is after closing and opening what can i do because 1000 mile away from shore i cant find internet
