Game Pass not transferring with changing home Xbox(?)

So I began game sharing with my brother, and changed his home Xbox to mine and mine to his, should I be getting the Game Pass subscription that he bought for us both?

I’m asking this because everytime I look at my Gamertag and score that pops up on the left, it still says that my original Game Pass membership is expiring in 5 days.

Is that a bug to where it’s saying my membership will run out or a bug to where I’m not getting the game pass?

It doesn't affect yourbrenewal date you just get the benefit that's it

With regards to your concern, is your current Game Pass still active? If it is I suggest to turn off the recurring bill of it via https://account.microsoft.com/services page by signing in your Microsoft account used for your gamertag.

Once done, you don't need to worry as it will be cancelled automatically and since you are now game sharing via Home Xbox you will then get to use the benefit of the subscription your brother has purchased.

But as for the games, if you wanted to install a game from the Game Pass, you need to use the account owner of the subscription to install the game. After installing it, you can then enjoy and play it using your account.

i got a gift card for some game pass ultimate but ended up using it on the wrong account and now it has basically gone to waste so is there any possibility to have it transfered to a another microsoft account??

If your trying to transfer game pass to another account you can go to settings, personation, my home Xbox and you can set your console as your home Xbox which will allow your other account to use game pass as long as its on the same Xbox

My girlfriend had recently got game pass ultimate and we said we would gameshare it. Her home xbox is my xbox and my accounts home xbox is on her console. The subscription is only showing up on her xbox and is not transferring to mine also how do i fix this?

Gamesharing through the "Home" feature does not share the Ultimate subscription. "Home" console lets you play any of her purchased and downloaded games even if they are from Game Pass. Your account will not show as having Ultimate, and your account will not be able to utilize Game Pass PC or cloud gaming. Those features are only for the account that actually purchased Game Pass Ultimate.

Games and DLC cannot be transferred to other profiles. That said the purchaser can make the console their home Xbox and share purchased content. Note you can only change
a home xbox on a profile 3 times.
