Game Pass Not Recognizing Installed Games.

As the title suggests, I have been unable to play a game I have installed on my computer. Specifically when opening the app it gives me the option to install it. However, the game is currently taking up space on my external drive already and the app wont
recognize that it is already there. I don't know what happened as it was working fine the other day and then suddenly this happens. Its happened numerous times already and I've had to delete the game and reinstall it. Now thats where it gets tricky. Following
the advice of another thread I attempted to repair the game within the app settings on my desktop, however after it finished the game is now nowhere to be found in the system settings. Additionally since it is an external drive I am unable to access my WindowsApps
folder where the game file is located. So now i have like a 100gb game taking up space on my external drive that I am unable to delete, nor am I able to get the Game Pass app to recognize its already there. I refuse to simply reinstall the game again because
I don't have the space and its silly to have 2 identical game installs.

To remove the files from the WindowsApps folder manually you will need to show hidden files/folders from the windows 10 control panel, (this guide can give you more details: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4028316/windows-view-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-10 ) please
be careful with these options as an incorrect deletion can affect the performance and usability of your system.

So id need to uninstall my entire library? Thats ridiculous, i know its only beta but charging for a service that does this regularly is silly. Simply put in an option like steam to scan ths computer for already installed games, or better yet change the
download location so its not restricted to the WindowsApps folder.

if i were you i would reinstall the app, that will make all the game pass games uninstall, if that dot not work i'm afraid the last solution is format your external harddrive

Game Pass games use protected folders, and if format Windows, it no longer recognizes any game even if it is on another external hard drive or hard drive. If you install it on a Windows or PC you don't recognize any of the games.

Are you sure you have downloaded and installed Freedom Cry? If not, go to the Freedom Cry DLC via the Xbox One's Marketplace(not the assassin's creed 4 in game menu). Once there, if your season pass is recognized the game should have the word install listed
instead of a price tag. Proceed with installing, and you should be good to go.

If your season pass is not being recognized, you will need to contact Microsoft or ubisoft customer support directly to get that resolved.
