Game pass not ketting me use the disc version of the game

I have game pass and I have the fallout new vegas ultimate edition disc but because its loading the game pass version it wont load the dlc and I refuse to buy it again anyone know how to get around this? Im playing on a series x with a xbox 360 disc it worked the first time I load the game up but now it refuses load the dlc from the disc.

Hi Shiro2040, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If the console was able to read the disc we should be able to install the DLCs as well, kindly highlight the game from your games and apps then go to manage games and add-ons, check if you can install the DLCs from there.

If not, you may need to uninstall the game then reinstall by removing the disc then insert the disc again.

Maybe Game Pass version and disc version are different, or different region/language. I think you can delete game pass version from the disc to free a bit of space.

How do I get rid of the game pass version (Fallout New Vegas, if it matters) so that I can play from disc and access the DLC? The DLC is installed, but game shows "Game Pass" on launch screen and only sends me to store for DLC.

DLC is on disc 2, so by rebooting xbox and putting in disc 2 I was able to install DLC. I just can't access it.

Because of how Xbox Game Pass works, you have to reinstall the game due to the licensing trying to use the Game Pass version which acts as the definitive version.

Go to My Games & Apps, highlight Fallout New Vegas, press menu (the button with 3 lines) and go to Manage game & add-ons.

Once you are at this screen, highlight Fallout New Vegas again, and press Menu once again, the select Uninstall. This will uninstall the game pass version and you will be able to install from a disc once you do this process. Your DLC will be safe.

Hi there,

I think you have this issue because with game pass you downloaded the Anniversary version of Sea of Thieves and your disc isn't an anniversary version. Delete the game, and reinstall it using your disc.

Do you mean that you are unable to play the games that you own as physical discs?

Are / were these games also available with game pass?

If so, the console may be trying to boot the game pass versions and you may need to uninstall and reinstall the disc versions.
