Game Pass / Network Issues

Good Day / Evening

I have been struggling the last few weeks almost months with this issue. I have a Xbox One S 1TB that is about 2 years old. My Game Pass is up to date and I have decent Fibre Internet. Games I downloaded from the start like Apex Legends I can still open and play without any problems. But the other games I downloaded like UFC 4,Fifa 22,NBA 2K22 etc I can't open. They say check subscription or make sure you are signed in with the account you bought the game. Also when I now download any game in the game pass and try to open it, it says to check my internet connection.

I have tried Wireless or Wired, unlinked and linked my account to Xbox, I can't find a solution and I'm getting frustrated. Would really appreciate some assistance

Do you have a different network connection that we can try? A mobile hotspot will do.

I have validated that my Game Pass is active and checked the network connection again. Still has the same issues as mentioned above. I also disconnected the router and did the Restart on Xbox, no luck yet

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

First, make sure that your account has an active Xbox Game Pass subscription if you were able to obtain these games through the Xbox game pass. To do so, please follow the steps below:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Once confirmed, perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Thanks. I will try this again when I am back at home, but I have tried this again this morning. As soon as I open up the game it gives met the same errors!!
