Game pass has wrecked my xbox

Hi there

I recently got the game pass on my xbox and ever since my xbox has gone off a cliff

My laptop next to the xbox connects to the internet just fine and the speed is average, the xbox runs on the same internet and was working

I am now at the end of my tether with it, it needed to update the microsoft store which it did along with the pacific warzone and try and download forza 5 onto my hard drive, here is a list of everything iv done:

Cancel all updates and finish the microsoft store update then try the game again

Reboot the xbox (i did this at least 15 times over trying different combinations of updates it needs)

Delete all the accounts in case they were corrupt and then redownload profile

Completely reset xbox

Take xbox apart and blown it out with an airline

Started it back up for it to want to update microsoft store again, it cant even do that and its stuck on 31.15kbps

What has happened, all iv done is try to download a new game and its somehow lost its ability to make use of the internet

Hi there Slugg welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I suggest you try this 3 things:

1. Turn off your Xbox using the power button on the console.

2. Once your Xbox has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console. Don't simply unplug the cord from the wall's electrical socket — it must be disconnected from your Xbox.

3. Wait for 5 minutes, and then reconnect the power cord to both the Xbox console and the electrical socket.

4. Let another minute pass. If you're using an original Xbox One (as opposed to an Xbox One S or One X), watch for a small white light to appear on the Xbox One's power brick (the rectangular part of the power cord). Once the white light turns orange, you can turn your Xbox One back on. If you're using an Xbox One S or One X, just wait out the minute and turn it on afterwards.

Second thing

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

And another thing that should help is opening ports! Ever since I opened them my games download and run faster! Give it a try!

The only time my Xbox got hungry and ate my disk was when I moved it. Totally wrecked the game with a huge circular scratch.

Everyone bitchin about the season pass wasn't worth it. Haha. Hope they feel stupid now. Can't wait to wreck the COG as RAAM.
