Game Pass Glitch blocking access to my game.

Whenever i try to play Fallout 4 a message pops up telling me to renew my Xbox Game Pass.

The thing is, i own the game but the console system seems to prioritize the digital game pass version over my disc.

Looks like you need to renew Xbox Game Pass (that's not the issue)

The message read as follows: "If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game. If you tried to launch this from a disc, check the disc- it might be dirty or damaged. (0x803f800e)".

Just in case i tried that solution, but the message keeps coming back. It doesn't add up since that disc is in mint condition, i had Fallout 4 way before i started my subscription on game pass. Oddly enough this started to happen as soon as
my subscription ended.

I need to know if there is a solution for that, or at least if someone is aware of this.

votedc i rent alot of games from lovefilm and never get a pass for a week of access to the game, even when i have rented games from my local blockbusters i never got a pass to have access to the game.

 

Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Play Anywhere

So I am subscribed to Xbox game pass on my Xbox but whenever I go to Xbox play anywhere I can't use my game pass that I am subscribed to and am told to buy a new subscription. I can access any game pass game on my Xbox and play but I am not sure what to
do for windows. I would like to have access to these games without buying a new subscription.

 

I have you tried deleting the game from your xbox and reinstall the game ? This usually resets errors associated with DRM. Please let me know if this works. JM

 

Hi! Unfortunately this is actually a quite common issue and is currently being worked on. Reinstalling the game might work, if not there's not much you can do besides reaching out to Xbox Support: Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

Try launching the game when you are not signed in from the disc you have.

As the below said, it's a known issue. I was able to get this to work with another game by doing the uninstall/resintall/reset. Best of luck!

 

It worked like a charm, since them the game had no Game Pass interruptions and had no problems launching from my main account as well. Thnks for the tip!
