Game Pass Game Break

What's the deal with the game break challenges I see on the Game Pass App? They say to complete a game in a certain amount of time (2 hours for The Gardens Between and 4 for Riverbond) but clicking on it just takes me to the store page. Do they correspond
to an in-game challenge or is it just a sort of thing to do that has no bearing on completion?

I believe that have nothing to do with in-game completions, but I do believe that both of those goals are extremely doable. They're mostly just for fun and rewards points.

You have to actually complete the challenge in the game specified.

The game pass challenges, if you complete them you get reward points to add to your Microsoft rewards. when you get enough points you can redeem them for subscriptions like Xbox game pass, gold or a gift card, and more.
