Game Pass for PC (XBOX beta app) - All games have greyed out "Play" button. Though I can...

Part 1: Issue

My daughters game pass for PC account refuses to play any of the games that are part of the game pass OR games that I have purchased and we own outright. This has been going on for a few months now and the customer service provided by MS is some of the
worst I have ever seen and offer no help.

I can DL the games ( uninstall and reinstall) but they Play button is greyed out. A message appears stating this game is not available on your account even though the subscription is current and or I own the game outright. I am also signed into the MS
store with the same account that I am using for the XBOX beta app.

• I have uninstalled the XBOX beta app and reinstalled
• signed in and out of the account both in the app and in the store
• I have tried using the store only to DL and play these games and no good result.
• She is a minor so I do have her on a family plan with all permissions for content and such set without limits.
• I have removed her from the family account and set her age, which should I think allow her unrestricted access to her games. That did nothing so I changed it back.

I have seen a TON of suggestions for what to do and I think I have tried all of them but who knows. Has anyone had a similar issue? Let me know if you can please. My kid would really like to play.

Part 2: Customer service fun

I will ignore the nonsense I have been through with the tragedy that passes for online support over the past month, and describe my interaction of the past weekend.

On Saturday (11/14) I requested a callback and was told the wait was 90 minutes. Fair, the new XBOX is out and no doubt they are swamped I reasoned. Almost 4 hours later they called me to tell me they would not be calling me and to try again tomorrow.

On Sunday (11/15) I requested a callback and again was told 90 minute wait. Eventually I was called by a live agent and we got to work. Needless to say she had no suggestions beyond what I have already tried based on what I could find online. After a hour
and 20 trying basics and for some reason troubleshooting my internet connection ( I understand she is not technical and is just reading from a troubleshooting flow... still). She suggested I reinstall Sea of Thieves even though that was only one of many games
that do not start and I had already done so as part of my earlier troubleshooting. She asked how long I thought that would take and I responded probably a hour because every game from the Microsoft store or the XBOX app downloads painfully slow. She then
stated she would call me back in a hour and foolishly I agreed.

In retrospect I should have known she had no intention of ever calling me back as promised.
