Game Pass for PC - Hello Neighbour comes up with 'Game pass needs renewing' error but...

That is very strange, since that's the only title that seems to be not recognizing it. Do you have an Android of iPhone to see if you can initiate the install from the Xbox Game Pass app on mobile?

Is that error you're getting from the Xbox app? Can you check if you get the same error trying to install from the store? I just tested and was able to install myself. The store will recognize your subscription so you can install directly from there.
That'll at least help identify if it's an issue with the Xbox (Beta) App or with the Windows Store and allow us to direct our troubleshooting accordingly.

OK, I can confirm that under 'Select default PC' my PC is showing correctly and is selected as the designated default PC.

Going forward I will ensure I use the one with the logo at the bottom of the pic. Just to you are aware, this is one with the following error message when trying to remotely install:

So if you go to Settings in the Xbox Game Pass app, under App Settings there should be an option to "Select default PC". Do you see your PC listed there that you can designate as the default PC?

And for verification, I also see four listings for "Hello Neighbor" (We don't use those superfluous 'u's over this side of the Atlantic). Two for console and 2 for PC. Based on the Windows 10 Store, I think the one with the "Hello Neighbor" logo on the
BOTTOM is the most current version, so I would continue testing focusing on that one, so as not to add in too many variables.

Ok, loading up the Game pass app and searching for 'Hello Neighbour' it strangely found 4 results. 2 PCs version and 2 console versions. (maybe one is an old beta, or a Demo or something, unsure). First one comes up with the following when clicking on install:

No PC Available

We can't find a PC that satisfies the system requirements of this game. Please sign in to a PC with the required configuration and try again.

The second one comes up with the following when clicking on install:

Install on Xbox

Try again later. We can't add this to your queue at the moment

So neither will install remotely through the app. As a further test, I tried to install Sea of Thieves remotely through the app and that worked fine.
