    Game Pass for PC (beta)


    I have got an issue with my Gears 5 Save. I originally played a while back through the Microsoft Store, however, I was not able to carry on my subscription at the time. I then played the game on Steam when it was free for the weekend. I was able to link
    the accounts and my save game transferred easily over to Steam allowing me to continue my campaign from where I left off.

    I have now purchased the Game Pass for PC (beta) and I have downloaded Gears 5 again. Launched the game fine, excited to continue my campaign thinking my saves would be transferred as with Steam. However, this is not the case. I am unable to continue from
    where I left off in Steam. I have attempted to locate save files and copy any over, but this does not resolve the issue. My Steam account is linked in Game Pass fine, but still unable to transfer saves.

    Is this something that can be done? As I've done a couple more chapters and don't necessarily want to replay a big chunk of the game.

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    Yes you just need to use the Xbox app ti purchase and download games. There is a subscription service of Game Pass PC beta, you get 100 PC games to play. Your PC needs to be running the Windows 10 1903 update, to use Game Pass PC beta.
