    Game Pass Error : 0x8007001f


    i already try to reinstall the game and xbox (beta) , remove the cache from xbox (beta) and microsoft store , turn firewall off , change the drive , install other apps like tweaking and windows repair , format windows 10 , close both xbox (beta) and microsoft
    store from task manger , and i install latest windows 10 version and many other things

    - this error show to me when the installation become 100%

    - the games that didn't install : Grounded and Slay the spire and darksiders 3 (at least that the games that i try) and the only game that install was hollow knight and cities sky lines

    - i'm not so good at english so any

    - i will never buy xbox game pass again if this error continue to show and i don't recommended anyone to buy it

    It seems we are not the only ones (and Bandido1508 copy/paste the answer) :

    And updating does not seems to fix the problem.

    I really don't think the windows link given above are the right solution, as this is a generic windows error code (why would audio driver block Xbox games from installing... ?)

    In fact it seems that this is more a not-being and Administrator account problem :

    And apparently, if Windows 10 system resides on an external hard disk it somehow messes up the installation process for "Administrator approval required for installation" games (Error 0x8007001f
    with Xbox Game Pass PC).

    At the moment, in my case, it seems there is no solution to this problem :-(

    I can't change my install (I moved Windows 10 on an external USB drive as I wanted more space for OSX on my laptop).

    I have to wait for an update of XBox app if any.

    Whenever I search for the error it appears to be more related to Windows update, not Game Pass.

    The reason why your searches show this error as a Windows Update error is because in actual fact it is.

    The Game Pass App is an extension of the Windows Store, for it to work, your Windows installation needs to be both the latest version, and in working order.
