    Why doesn't xbox game pass give me an option on where to download my games to?
    Unlike steam, Epic, Origin and other launchers on pc, Xbox game pass doesn't allow me to install games to my hard drive and only wants to install to my super small ssd which can only just fit my OS and google on. I'm having a huge issue with this sort of thing and curious to why I have wasted money on this thing if I can't even play one game on here.
    Would be super nice if they were to work this out so people who are also in the same situation can actually play the content they have paid for.

    Do you own the game SOTTR or did you already download it with game pass?

    If you have game pass and it expires you lose access to the content you downloaded via game pass.

    Purchasing the season pass will not allow you to also download the game it is for; it is a separate purchase.

    Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass, and Game Pass for PC. So games downloaded from Game Pass will work the same as they do with standard Game Pass versus Ultimate.

    Since Forza is a Play Anywhere title, you an download it on both the PC and console without needing Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate.

    When a game is on Game Pass and free on Games with Gold...

    Simple if you download it on games with gold it is signed as owned but if you download it via game pass it is there til removed from game pass.

    If youre not able to get the game pass to download on his xbox, any game that you download from the game pass will be shard on his xbox.

    Hi there,

    If your son is playing on your account's home console, he can play any of the games you download via game pass. He won't be able to download game pass games so if there is a game pass game he wants to play, you will need to log in and download the game(s).
