Game pass downloads

So when I downloads games from game pass it doesn't go to the game section. I have to look for it in the microsoft store and it will say This is downloaded and with the play button to the right. Any way to get these games to go to the game section?

Xbox GamePass Question

So I've got a fairly large game collection. Probably 200 games purchased and around 100 downloaded from Xbox Game Pass.

1. Is there anyway I can see which games are from Game Pass and which I have purchased?
2. Is there anyway to easily see if a game that I downloaded on gamepass is no longer available to play as part of game pass?

I'd like to clean out all the games that are no longer on Game Pass.

I have game pass and i have downloaded a lot of games the game pass that i have is about to expire i will renew it the games that i downloaded will the work on the new game pass

 

Hmm, that doesn't seem right. My game pass games go straight to the "My Games & Apps" Section. I really don't see why it wouldn't.

I'm not sure how to get it to the 'My Games & Apps" section but you can add it to your home, pins, or groups.

1. Highlight desired game

2. Press the Menu button

3. Select from the options. (Add to Home or Add to Group)

Our suggestion here as it seems that the games are not properly syncing is to perform all variants of
Restarting the Console to give the console a fresh start/boot and then attempt to check the games section once again.

After this is attempted, and if still occurring, our next suggestion is to perform a
Soft Factory Reset which involves selecting keep my games and apps:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

Note: This will remove profiles so be sure to keep all information for signing into any/all accounts.

Try these and let us know if this works!

I made a group and been putting them there but I have to look for them and all. It's a pain in the [Mod Removed - Profanity]. I wonder if my xbox is has a defect?

I've done that many times. Ever since I got the box I had this problem. Some go into the games section and some dont.

Is it possible that there is some Filter on in your Games & Apps section? That could explain while some things may be installed and not appearing try setting it to Show All.

In order to change the filter in games and apps, try this:

• Select the Games & Apps section from the top right-hand side of the main dashboard.
  
• Using the Xbox controller and pressing A, you can select games and apps, sort your collections alphabetically, by letter, by last used, last updated, or by size. You can also change the size of the thumbnails to get more on screen, or filter your collection
  by a storage device if you're connecting multiple drives.
• Selecting a game or app with A will launch it as expected.
• Selecting a game or app with the menu button on your controller will open the context menu, giving you additional controls. From here, you can pin them to your home screen, check out a title's game hub, manage the app or game, or uninstall them entirely.
  
• You can also dive straight into the game or app management page by selecting a title with the view button on your controller, instead of the menu button.
  
• From this screen, you can move and copy content to different storage devices, or uninstall them entirely.
  
• You can also view the save data for each title, and remove that if you wish to start over fresh.
  
• Press B to cycle backward through these screens.

The soft factory reset worked and I didn't erase the games and such but I dont see anything about my game pass or my xbox live which I have a year and a half of.

• Are you signed in under the same gamertag?

If you are, try this:

• Select the Games & Apps section from the top right-hand side of the main dashboard.
  
• Using the Xbox controller and pressing A, on the left side you will see Memberships, Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass.
