    Game Pass Code Not Working


    I have a game pass code to use and it will not let me access it. I have had an account for a few months now only because my roommate let me borrow thier xbox 360. Playing MW2, I decided to buy xbox live for 12 months. Now that I have purchased my own xbox,
    I cannot use the code that I have because it says that it is for new users only. How do I solve this issue? Could I redeem a different code to be able to experience game pass and possibly use the subscription for months to follow?

    I assume it's the Game Pass Ultimate code right? Have you previously had Game Pass? The code will only work for new subscribers.

    No. The Game Pass code that is included in consoles can only be used for new Game Pass accounts. So since you've already had Game Pass, it will not work.

    Xbox One Gold >> Game Pass

    The 14 day codes are trials and will only work with new subscribers to Game Pass, which is why there's an error. You would need a code that is not a trial code (anything 1 month or above) or purchase Game Pass (or Ultimate) directly from Xbox.
